What is Laminated Glass?
Laminated glass is formed by placing a hard protective material called polyvinylbutral (PVB) between more than one plate of glass and permanently bonding it with the application of heat and pressure. The image because of pressing is a single glass image. When broken, PVB, which is the intermediate layer, prevents the glass from scattering and thus becomes a safe glass type in terms of security.
